Summer is the perfect time to check for leaks, as a long winter can have an effect on plumbing that we can't even see and you want a chance to take care of any problems during warm weather before it gets cold again.
Inspect plumbing separately inside and outside of your house. Check all of your faucets, pipes under the sink, shower heads, bathtub spigots, drinking water line behind your refrigerator, water softener connections, hot water heater, outdoor spigots, service tup, lawn or irrigation sprinklers, pool and/or spa, etc. Look for rust, corrosion, leaks, broken or bent sections or other trouble signs. Use a torch to see cabinets below, and in dark corners.
